Chalice of Its Pattern, 2022

Chalices of Its Pattern (2022), created under the roof of the Bruckner Foundation Ceramic Centre, seeks to contemplate the cycle of suffering, rage, and violence perpetuated since time immemorial. It invites the audience to confront their own participation in this cycle - whether conscious or otherwise. The chalice is a powerful symbolic artifact in many traditions, and while what it represents to different cultures, traditions, and religions varies, it is almost always used to unify group members through shared participation.

The intricate relief work on the cups are composed of natural elements - a style that draws heavily from Art Nouveau.
